Jason Beghe is an American actor best known for portraying Sergeant Hank Voight in NBC’s Chicago P.D. and the One Chicago series. His deep voice and commanding presence make him a standout in law enforcement roles.
Before Fame:
He attended the Collegiate School in New York with John F. Kennedy Jr. and David Duchovny. Beghe began as a European model before landing his breakout role in Monkey Shines (1988).
Trivia:
His trademark raspy voice came from a serious car accident in the 1990s. Beghe is also a former Scientologist who has spoken openly about his experiences after leaving the church.
Family Life:
Born March 12, 1960, in New York City, Beghe was married to Angie Janu until 2020. They share two sons, with whom he remains very close.
